Having worked in retail, I understand the need for loss prevention, but this place really goes over the line for what I'd find to be acceptable from a consumer stand point. All of the associates seem to be trained to harass customers for their shopping picks so that they can hold them behind the counter while they're shopping. I didn't mind the first or second time they asked, but after the 3rd, 4th, and 5th damned time I let it be known that they were getting under my skin. I get it, the mall is a high traffic area and the likelihood for shop lifting is high, but asking any more than twice is getting out of line, and training your staff to be paranoid little freakish authoritarians about someone carrying around a God damned pillow with a cat on it seems absurd to me. It doesn't help that your alarm system is apparently broken and your anal retentive employees can't be bothered to take security tags off their merchandise despite how much they're apparently fixated on shop lifting. Having to come back in to get the security tags removed, and then having a cop coincidentally start trailing you in the store because you want to be able to actually bring your purchased product home, was less than a pleasant experience, and believe me, I won't be coming in here again. Being in the mall is stressful as it is, being treated like a degenerate by a bunch of mouth breathing teenagers isn't my ideal shopping experience.
tl;dr The place carries nice brands, but they need to fix their loss prevention tactics (and infrastructure) and train their staff better.
