Great staff. Doctors treat each animal as if they were their own
I was so disappointed in this clinic. I'm from New Jersey but go to school in Newark and I brought my cat with me. Her eye became infected and I wanted to take her to a vet in Newark instead of driving 3 hours back to my vet in New Jersey since car rides make her very sick and anxious. I called White Clay Creek and the receptionist rudely informed me that they did not take sick animals unless the animal has already been there. Well don't people generally bring their animals to a vet when the animals is sick? What kind of vet is this? One who will only see healthy animals? I was under the impression that vets existed to help sick animals but apparently these people could not care less about your pet unless they have already been able to make money off you.
I told the receptionist my cat was up to date on all her shots, and I had all of the paperwork with me and could give them the number of my regular vet if they wanted to call him about anything. She repeated that they do not take sick animals and hung up on me. I can't believe anyone would trust their pet's welfare to people this uncaring and I hope this can be a warning to anyone considering using this vet's office.
We've been going here for a while and have seen both of their vets. They've done a nice job for us and are a bit more affordable than our last vet where we went for nearly 20 years.
We've been taking our dogs here for sometime, very attentive to the dogs and owners. Not rushing like most places. Very nice people...
Liked the vet, the receptionists leave much to be desired. In person they are personable and seem to know customer service, but get one of them on the phone and out the window that goes. I called to ask a question about my cousin's kitten and she acted like I was going to perform at home surgery. Then with my own kitten I needed to know pricing because I am not working and need to let my husband know what I need and she acted like I should have the money. Like no one struggles, maybe she was mad because I called to ask a question and reschedule my appointment. Sorry my life inconvenienced u.
