I visited for a Friday - Sunday weekend wedding being held in Newark DE. I received a room upgrade to the executive lounge (club on four) and let me tell you that this is the best executive lounge experience I have ever had at a Hilton. The Executive Lounge staff went above and beyond the call of duty. In addition, the front desk staff, housekeeping, and the Market Kitchen and Bar team were all excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and sizable with high quality Peter Thomas Roth bathroom amenities. I don't think I've had a better Hilton experience in my last two years of being a gold member. I look forward to visiting again at the very least to confirm that I just didn't have a rare excellent experience. If the second time is still charming, this may become my go to Northern Delaware hotel.
Review of bar/cafe area
The revamped menu is delicious and creative. The atmosphere has been upgraded and has a very at-home feel to it. Customer service is also very good. We sampled the new brunch menu and the Apple pancakes are great.
Very good experience staying with Hilton! The front desk attendant was extremely friendly and the staff was overall really helpful. The rooms were just as expected, and nothing really disappointed me. For some reason I got randomly charged 2 dollars, but other than that I would definitely recommend in the future for a decently priced room!
Wonderful, stayed there through christmas and the service was perfect. My room was very nice and i even had a beautiful view of a lighted Christmas tree outside of my room. Christmas brunch was the best. I highly recommend this hotel!
Best hotel in the whole area. Convenient to local attractions and businesses. Comfortable rooms, stellar service and a great place to hold business and personal events. The staff works hard to make sure your event, meeting, reception or whatever goes off without a hitch. The food is great! A classy place with reasonable prices
