I have never had a problem canceling or rescheduling an appointment here. The staff had ALWAYS been courteous in my situations. My doctor is great and the desk staff has never given me any problems.
9/13/17: Currently, one of their patients is going through HORRIBLE withdrawal from routine meds that the doc forgot to order. Insomnia, vomiting, zombie-like, can't eat or drink because of vomiting. They were contacted 5 days ago, then every day this week. Never a record of me talking to someone about what to do to help this patient, or when the doc will be helping his patient. Even the pharmacy has tried to help and can't get anywhere with them. Just a big runaround. A 65 yr old woman's life is completely at risk at this very moment because of going cold turkey off of her medicine and experiencing dangerous withdrawal. Horrible and inhumane!!!!
Update 9/15/17: After 5 days, Rx was finally called in. It was too late though. Patient had to be admitted to a hospital after 7 days. NONE OF THIS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED!!!!!
If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The secretaries at the front desk are unhelpful and rude. I was trying to get my medication refilled, which I’ve been on for years, and was continually put through to the medication refill answering machine. No other effort was made to resolve the issue. For 3 weeks I went without medication, calling the Newark office multiple times a week. When finally going to my appointment with Dr Kristen David and explaining the story of how she put my medication through to the wrong mail service and how I contacted the office multiple times a week, her response was”mistakes happen”. The fact that a patient under her care went without medication for weeks due to the carelessness of her and the lack of effort of her staff was completely brushed under the rug. That was only one of the issues I’ve had with this office. An appointment was cancelled by the Dr and I was not notified until I was at the office for the appointment. Overall, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical facility which is terrifying considering they are dealing with peoples’ mental health.
Very rude staff members! Only out for $ won't even allow you to make an appointment if you owe anything and refuse to bill the insurance just want me to pay out of pocket. Once again very very rude staff not a pleasant place to be at all. Will never be going here again
I'm posting to echo all of the issues that others have mentioned. No one explained their scheduling policies to me. When I was making summer appointments, I scheduled a 2:15 time because it worked with my summer schedule. I teach and once school starts, I need a later time. Well, firstly I was told that I couldn't schedule appointments in person and I needed to call the intake line. The intake line never picks up. Then after emailing i was told that I have to go back into the general pool and get a new therapist. It's so hard to find someone to work with and they don't seem to understand that. I'm completely crushed because I wanted to get things worked out before starting the school year up. I have so many social issues and I can't believe the lack of compassion.
