They never answer patient's phone calls. My doctor is awesome but getting through the receptionist and making an appointment is a pain. I have been on call for an hour and no one has responded. I have left them a voice mail yesterday and no one called back. So unprofessional.
Wife waited over a month for a neurology visit with a necessary eeg. Appointment at 10 am was met with a voicemail from the facility at 7:15 am that same morning advising the eeg tech called out this morning and the next availability would not be for another month. The woman handling the phones, while nice, was unable to provide any actual assistance outside of transferring her to a manager and advising that this was not an uncommon occurrence. We rescheduled our entire lives around this appointment so saying we're upset is an understatement. I will update this review if we ever hear back from the manager, but the way this was communicated to my wife - I'm not holding my breath.
All I want to do is reschedule an appointment. I'm not trying to move mountains.The website says the office closes at 5, I'm not understanding what the issue is. I understand every establishment gets swamped but this is completely ridiculous and unprofessional. I left a message earlier this week and i haven't had a response and the current call I'm on went silent and dropped after 15 minutes. Not once did an actual person pick up the phone to say anything! But I bet if I miss my appointment they'll be prompt in contacting me about that fee! Smh Horrible service
I called a week ago today to setup a follow-up appointment from my stay at Univ. Of Pennsylvania, I have received NO call back! This morning I woke up in pain in both lower extremities . My left leg hurts so bad! Their website said they they are opened at 7:00, I call get the Emergency Receptionist. They need to change that, they open at 7:30 a.m. This is NOT the first time I have dealt with leaving voice mails, talking to receptionists and NO return calls!! Mind you this is a new medication , I have other issues with the side effects when I called the first time and NO one called back! I really like this Doctor! He is supposed to monitor me on this new med!
We had an excellent experience with Dr Amy Tai. She was on time, cheerful and highly qualified. We left with our question answered. She previewed the records and made recommendations accordingly. It took several months to get the appointment but we were impressed with her knowledge her neurological background and her communication skills.
