Hello, I called about 6 weeks ago and spoke with a manager. I wanted to host a graduation party there of between 40 and 50 people there. I asked if we could have the bar area to ensure that we would not take up too much seating from the main area. I also stated that we did not need the tables put together that I just wanted to possibly have an area. I have requested large parties of between 30 and 50 people before on a weekend which has been granted twice. It seemed to be bothersome with two/three sections of tables put together like this so I was attempting to be accommodating because I love the atmosphere, I love the food, and the staff is amazing. I was told that this was doable and that I just needed to call 2 weeks in advance to solidify the plans. Therefore, I called two weeks in advance and was immediately told that it was not possible and that there was no way to accommodate that many people and that they do not even take call-ahead seating for weekends which seemed odd because again... I have done this before on two different occasions. Being that I had everything set for this and was counting on having this , I am now forced to scramble and find means to have a party within two weeks time. Counting on this, and having the rug ripped under me with no venue, no food, no anything I am very disappointed in a restaurant that I frequent and have recommended on numerous occasions. With this negative experience I do not plan on visiting your restaurant again and will definitely no longer recommend this. Understandably, this will probably do nothing and I am more than likely just a number in a sea of countless customers you have had and continued to have but I wanted to put my extremely negative experience to your customer service team and thank your restaurant for losing a loyal customer and large amount of business.
1 star is too many for my meal today. Gluten free chips were broken up taco shells. Salsa was canned tomatoes without any seasonings. Steak was definitely not mesquite grilled and rare was medium well in most of the meat. Server was awful. Didn't see me for almost 10 minutes, the restaurant was essentially empty, didn't admit the taco shells until I mentioned it. Brought the "spicy" salsa that had a sprig of cilantro, maybe. Chastised me when I refused dessert but didn't mention my leaving half the meal uneaten. Worst restaurant experience in a very long time.
Every once in a while we go to Don Pablo's. The night we visited they were short handed but our waitress did her best to take care of us and the other patrons. Our food and service were very good.
Our server's name is Pablo. Not to be confused with the name of the restaurant. He does not own the restaurant (we asked). But the point of the review is Pablo was amazing. If you want to have a great experience ask to be sat with Pablo. He is incredibly nice and attentive. Willing to help at the drop of a hat. I hope this review finds its way back to him.
This is a family friendly restaurant with great Mexican foods. The Corn pudding desert is to die for. I had an amazing Samarita drink here that was so delicious and went fantastic with my dinner. A great birthday night out with my family.
