The ABSOLUTE WORST company I have ever dealt with. if I could give them a big 0 I would. My move was a nightmare. They broke so much stuff and said they didn't have to replace it because I packed it even though Kyle who sold me the package said that they would and I paid extra to guarantee that. They were awful. My stuff was stored and they placed a lot of boxes on pieces of my furniture which then broke. No crew showed up to unpack the truck so the driver - who was arrogant and rude- hired some non-Allied worker who literally picked a "guy" up in a store to help him. The guy was kicking my doors and throwing boxes around so we fired him after about 1/2 an hour. The one worker and the driver spent more time talking than working so the unpacking, which the driver arrogantly assured me would take 4 hours took 11 hours over two days mostly because the one worker only showed up at 1:00 pm. Then they placed most of the boxes and bins in the wrong rooms even though EVERYTHING was labelled and color coded. I have spent four weeks just trying to get things in the correct rooms. The rugs were not unrolled, the beds were not built until I insisted that they did. I had a signed contract that guaranteed all of this but I got none of it. And they were very difficult to work with. When no crew showed up NO ONE would return my calls until late in the afternoon. HONESTLY I cannot say enough about how BAD this company is so I really advise you not to use them -especially if you get the driver and scheduler that I got. THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!!!!!
The driver/team leader was a great facilitator, showed experience and was a good communicator.
We moved from New Jersey to Indiana and our last move was 30+ years ago. I got quotes from four moving companies and selected Bayshore and I am very happy with that choice. The Representative outlined exactly what would happen and in what time lines, he also gave me some materials that proved to be a big help along with many good tips based on his experience. I negotiated the amount of moving boxes they would provide to me and wound up using literally every box. I had good communications with the driver, he was on time for the pickup AND for the delivery in Indiana and supervised the process to assure that our furniture and household goods got here unscathed. The ONLY broken item was a lamp globe that I had packaged myself. When it turned out that the truck they sent wasn't large enough for some of my bulkier items (patio table and chairs, picnic table, 3 large ladders,etc) a call to Bayshore s Relocation Coordinator caused them to make quick arrangements for a second truck - which arrived within hours - and that delivery was handled as smoothly as was the first. Everyone that I dealt with at Bayshore was positive, respectful and professional. My belongings were moved 700+ miles without damage, and I have NO complaints.
The estimator was friendly as well as thorough.
The pack and load team were efficient and nice to work with. They showed pride in their work and genuinely cared about out belongings.
The unloading team was equally nice to work with and were eager to please.
Mike in the office is kind, and so helpful.
