It's okay. I like to shop for my groceries at ShopRite because they have the best prices and good weekly deals. This ShopRite is not like any other ShopRite I've visited. The layout is a little chaotic, and the place looks a bit run-down. The produce section is okay, they have a decent selection of fruits and vegetables.
They have some really good sales, so make sure you check out the weekly sale flyers by the doors..best time to shop is the middle of the day on like Tuesday or Wednesday.
This is my favorite supermarket chain in Delaware, but this location in Newark near Route 4 needs improvement in cleanliness, efficiency, customer service, and better lighting. Good prices. Great variety. ShopRite is truly a top-notch supermarket with competitive prices.
Nice, clean store. Great deli, and awesome seafood departmental, huge selection of fresh meats...nice produce section...
I love ShopRite but not this particular store! I will never shop there ever again! I was treated very rudely by management at this store and have had other bad experiences here. I would also say that it doesn't even compare or seem to be in the same class as the ShopRite at the Four Seasons Shopping Center. Overall, this store is not worth even bothering with for anything. If you need something local...go to FoodLion instead. They are much better if you can't get to a different ShopRite.

Great prices. Definitely a store that tries to accomodate everyone - food allergies, special diets, etc. The store needs a makeover though. And you do have to look at ALL expiration dates - even items like bacon or a box of cookies. But good store overall. Definitely beats the rest of the stores with prices, even for organic. Also, if you go any time after dinner time, you will be faced with pallets in front of items you can’t get to. I try to avoid going at night because of this.
