The staff searched for my dog food while I waited on hold on the phone and found it for me and told me what isle it was in. This was a huge help, because I was on my break and searched pet stores all over Newark and couldn’t find it (Purina Beyond). I was able to run in go to the correct isle and grab my food and go. The cashier was very nice as well! Now I don’t have to stop on my way home and make the dogs wait for dinner. Thank you Acme staff!
The store is nicer looking than the other Acme, but customer service is hit or miss and on average is mediocre. Also, they almost never have baskets stocked when I walk in, so I've resorted to using my reusable bag instead of hunting through all the checkstands to find one.
Tired of buying meat that was put out that day and goes bad the very next. Terrible shelf life, and then they have the nerve to pretty much double the price of meat when there is a bogo sale. The prices are just all around crazy in this store.
Too many displays to navigate around in such a busy store. Too me forever to find what I was looking because it lacks proper signing and random items you wouldn't think to be in the same aisle are. Certain sections are very nice like the produce area.
Went there for the bakery dept to pick out & purchase a birthday sheet cake for a party in 2 1/2days, not only was the woman working the counter helpful and pleasant, she offered to have cake done as early as this evening, with a delivery option.... I have always enjoyed & thought Acme's bakery dept makes the best super market sheet cakes money can buy, with reasonable pricing!
