Nevertheless, the did return the money and I did not purchase the vehicle. I will not be returning to Matt Slap
We were torn between another make of car and a Subaru, plus we had a family emergency right after we started looking at new cars, so we took our time making the decision. Laura, our salesperson, was very accommodating, never pressuring us to hurry our decision. She worked hard to answer our many questions. Often, she'd offer to do something--like schedule a second test drive--before we thought of it ourselves. Laura went above and beyond to get us the car and the particular extras that we wanted, even helping us AFTER the sale when we needed to retrieve something from our trade-in car. In addition to all of the above, EVERY Matt Slap employee that we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. I think that's the way all businesses should be. As if all this weren't enough, this is a woman-owned and managed business, since 1981. Go, Matt Slap Subaru!!!
I wouldn't trust their cars or their employees- whether you plan on buying old or new. I honestly feel bad ripping this dealership apart, but without going into much detail they caused damage to the brand new vehicle I wanted to purchase before it even drove off the lot. Maybe removing window packaging from a window should not be done with a box cutter?
Literally the most incompetent people work here. They lost my license plate and registration somewhere possibly in the mail and didn't decide to get a tracking number, now I am stuck until my temp tag expires. The guy that talks to you about the extra coverages lies to you about what is actually covered (so read carefully) trying to get to buy things and tries to have you sign papers with the wrong prices because he's lazy. The sales people don't even know about the car and all it's features and nobody likes to call you back or figure things out. Only good thing is the prices. Poor service and I am extremely dissappointed.
Buyer beware.
I was a little anxious about going into a dealership on my own because I wanted to avoid any pressure to buy. In fact, I wasn't planning to purchase a car that day. Based on the fantastic customer experience, in-depth information, quality of product and the business office willing to work out a deal I did walk out with a new car and I am very happy with it.
Had a great experience with Matt Slap Subaru. Chris was awesome had to handle the deal over the phone, Got me approved quick and easy. Next day I met Greg Winter to finish the rest of the deal, Its nice to work through the deal with some who enjoyed the car as much as the buyer. Overall great team and would recommend anyone who wants a Subaru to go check out Matt Slap Subaru.
