Good shopping with a nice selection of stores. Decent sales are hard to come by and I got to tell you though, the traffic patterns and traffic management around the place could have been designed better by my pet dog. I'm Christmas shopping and there is NO way to get out of this place. Traffic everywhere is at a total standstill! No one directing any where in sight.
Be careful where you buy food from at the food court. One of the Asian restaurant next to a restaurant that is closed on Sundays and sells only chicken meals, doesn’t practice handling good safely. They have been caught chopping food outside in the back on the ground! (Witnessed by other employees to other restaurants). When food falls on the floor it gets tossed back to the food being served, or the trash. So yes the mall is nice and all, but keep in mind where you eat!
Another tip is to look for cut throughs in mall. In almost half the restroom areas there's a cut through that will move you from one side of the mall to the other side very quickly without having to walk around.
Prety great mall mainly due to it's location. Tax-free shopping for PA and MD residents brings in shoppers from all around. Has a good food court and a wide selection of stores. Overall, it's a solid mall - way better than Dover mall.. ugh...
I loved shopping here with my daughter. There are so many great stores and we found such great deals. The food court is absolutely wonderful, and the Asian restaurant is my favorite all-time restaurant.
Also with some of the changes and construction changes occurring at the mall now for certain stores it makes sense to not park near the front butt to circle around the mall and park in the back lots. You may end up walking a little further but you'll save yourself the aggravation of trying to park in the extremely busy front entrance which is the turnoff closest to.freeway. if continue to drive on ring road you will find back lot.
This is truly a mega mall with something for everyone. Walking distances can be massive to certain stores. My strong suggestion is you download a map of Christiana mall and park in the appropriate lot. This will save you a lot of time and wear and tear on your shoe leather.
