There are much better apartments near the same place with less price and better facilities.
Reason:
3. When I leased the apartment, they agreed to fix broken things but none were ever fixed.
Hmm...what else? Oh! We had a neighbor that played the SAME song EVERY....SINGLE...DAY for 3 weeks straight and he played it LOUD!
Oh, I almost forgot! In the kitchen there were 4 sets of cabinets and I'll be damned if 3 of 'em didn't suddenly collapse for no apparent reason, spilling our food everywhere!
1. Windows are poorly insulated causing high electric bills during summer. Poor efficiency coolers will increase your electric bill by 50$/month.
4. Pool never opened.
Plus, management did a poor job of maintaining the property. The complex has an security entrance to every building, but the door was damaged so it didn't always close properly, thus rendering the security door useless. And at least 1 of the 2 small-capacity washing machines was always broken in the laundry room. And good luck getting someone in the rental office during normal business hours.
Also, the pool NEVER opened. When we were signing the leasing papers, they told us that the pool would be opening and that they would let us know when. Well, it turned out that they lied right to our face because they knew then that they had no intention of opening the pool.
Peaceful place, all of the most important places and roads are very close.
Furthermore, the windows in the apartment were poorly insulated. In the summertime, the a/c never shut off automatically because w/ all the heat seeping through the single-pane windows, the apt never cooled down.
Simple advice: Stay away.
2. Lawn near the apartment is seriously infested with bugs.
My wife and I lived here for approximtely 18 months. This place sucks!! For starters, I'll mention that our apartment had a major cockroach problem that came to light after living there for about 3-4 months. We had management send an exterminator to our unit THREE times. The roaches did not take "no" for an answer. After all the times the exterminator sprayed the apartment, they kept returning. In fact the exterminator told management what needed to be done to fix the problem, but they never did anything.
5. Hard to find parking spot if you come from office at around 8.00. PM.
