AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Specially if you are planning to pick up a car on Saturdays. Last weekend I went to pick the car I had booked online and had to deal with Marco who treated me like if I was bothering him. I guess it was due to the fact that he was having lunch at that precise moment, but that is not my problem. Not only he was not being helpful but also he was being rude to me. He even burped in front of me!!! As I really needed the car I decided to make blind eyes and left the office. What is really incredible is that today I went to pick another car wishing not to meet him and there he was again. The way he talked to me was even worse and what made matters more evil is that this time he started making up excuses and did not rent me any car. Of course I had to walk back to my hotel - distances in Newark are always long - and the plan is ruined.
This has been no doubt the worst client experience in my two months in the US.
Worst customer service experience of my life. I brought my car here on advice from Budget (take your car to the nearest budget rental so it can be examined by a manager) as there were a few little scratches I hadn't noticed when picking the car up the night before. The manageress who's name I didn't get but had face tattoos and a terrible attitude, wouldn't even listen to what I'd been advised and told me I had to call Philadelphia, at a cost of £5 per minute to me... rather than call them herself to clarify the problem. She then proceeded to ignore me like a two year old girl and left me standing in the depot . I took a day out my holiday to rectify this problem due to her incompetence. How this lady has worked her way to a managers position I don't know. A complete discredit to an otherwise great company. I will be making an official complaint.
There is no option to give zero star, so i am forced to give highest rating for this location. Worst ever customer service takes almost 45 mins to serve per customer. Have rented 4 times here with such pathetic service...
Dear owner, If you are reading this and want to have clients in the future, I suggest you address this immediately. HIs bad attitude is only surpassed by his bad manners.
