I went in pretty late in the evening tonight w/ a used car I had poured money into to trade in and not the best credit in the universe by a long shot. This is after I signed up at the dealership I had previously purchased a car at, but was never given a second glance at by them because of my score. But I wasn't treated like a "terrible" person because of that at Martin, I was treated like someone who deserved a second chance. Shari (my sales gal and in my opinion the ONLY one to go to in DE) and Larry (our finance guru) worked tirelessly to make sure I not only got into the car that I came for ( a bigger and more reliable car for my 5 year old to be driven around in), but really explained everything in such detail to me on how to build my credit while I own this car. They even had an amazing fly insurance gentlemen Marty on-site who sat down and explained my insurance coverage while helping my husband and I switch cars over and saving us money. The whole team here worked so hard, after they had closed even, with my husband and I to make sure we felt comfortable, safe, and we went home in a car with peace of mind that we can bring our interest rate down in a couple years and HOW to do this. I wanted to get a new car that fit me. A commuter car that was good on gas mileage, affordable for my budget, and could last me for a bit. I called up Martin Honda and got matched up with Spencer O'Brien and he was great! He asked me what I wanted and was looking for. Got me looking at what I wanted that fit my price range. We did a test drive of the car I desired the most. He helped describe the car for me, what features I'd get, but he focused on what I wanted. He was also very personal, just talking like to people getting to know each other. I felt very comfortable making a big purchase with him, it was painless and would make me want to go back to them. A genuine person that wanted to see me happy with purchasing a car. I was able to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted, and even got a few extras that could fit in my budget. Overall I had a GREAT experience and I would highly recommend Martin Honda and Spencer O'Brien to any looking to buy a vehicle. I purchased a 2017 New Honda Civic for point of reference. I felt I was becoming part of a group or family with this purchase and would tell anyone to go to this dealership.
