The experience wasn't as great I had hoped. We went to this location on Sat August 5th,2017 between 12-1pm. First off, the woman behind the counter treated us as if we were interrupting whatever she was doing on her phone. I asked her if they had something in stock and she told me no. I got the impression that she just didn't want to go in the back and check after I had told her what I needed wasn't in the isle where she was looking. We later asked her if they had another product and again we were given a very vague and unhelpful answer as she continued to stare at her phone. As we get to the counter we see what we needed. So again, she just didn't feel like looking. While handling our icing decorations, she proceeded to put latex gloves on to handle our items. This is a problem because I am deathly allergic to latex. It's 2017 and more people are phasing out these types of gloves for this reason. I worry that there could be a another serious event due to the latex. They had most everything we needed which we were grateful for but their customer service has us looking for alternative cake supply stores. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they did have some things we needed. This was a huge disappointment because about a year ago I ordered a wedding cake from Cannon's bakery across the street and had awesome customer service to be able to create our custom wedding cake. Overall we hope that this review will help you provide better customer service.
If you need supplies for making cakes, candies, or cupcakes they have almost anything you could want. Helpful staff. Prices are right in line.
Great selection, staff not very friendly and can be rude, but you'll likely find what you need.
I'm 36 yrs old yet I've been coming here for as long as I can remember because I used to come with my Mommom & then my Mom. Now I'm bringing my kids because I love the "small town feel" & "mom & pop" charm of Cannon's...not to mention the memories it brings back for me. They always have what I'm looking for plus a little bit I wasn't & they have THE BEST TASTING + THE SMOOTHEST CHOCOLATE...so whatever I use it for always turns out spectacular!
