Debra Delaney FNP is the provider I saw and she was fantastic. I felt truly listened to and felt in line with her plan of care. She got me checked out in a very reasonable time but without rushing. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with her today.
they have misdiagnosed 3 members of my family, including myself and, just within the last week, my wife.
1st time utilizing an urgent care center and was pleasantly surprised by the level of care I received. Staff was very professional but personable as well. The team examined me within 45 mins but I had to get my knee drained so I was in the facility just a while longer. Great job and thank you all!
incompetent practitioners.
I visited for the first time today. I was brought back fairly quickly but then had about a bit of a wait once in the room. I was a bit frustrated about it until the provider came in and gave the most sincere apology for the wait that I've ever heard in any medical aid unit.
-told my daughter she had a heart murmur during a routine sports physical; after consulting a specialist, she has no heart murmur
-diagnosed me incorrectly as well.
I went in to be seen 2 nights ago for a problem I had also had back in the fall. However, this time it was worse. The young lady, Grace, at the front desk was very pleasant and did a quick and efficient job checking me in. My wait time to go back was only a couple of minutes. I was seen by Dr. Doug Amis. I was extremely impressed by, not just his pleasant manner when treating me, but also by his explanation and knowledge of why I was experiencing the problem with my ear that I was. I did not get that same information the last time I was seen at a Christiana MAU for this same issue with my ear. He explained things in a way I understood and it all made sense. He also answered all of my questions quite well. From my understanding he is new to the unit and I hope he is going to be there for a long time. He is the kind of doctor patients should be happy to have treat them.
I WILL NEVER, EVER GO HERE AGAIN!
-told my wife on 12/27 she had pneumonia; today on revisit said..just a bad cough; included an xray which person said was 'read wrong'
I had a great experience at the medical aid unit in Glasgow. Grace and Tony were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I will definitely be back.
