Have had great service from Enterprise until today. Was told there was a bigger car available, went to the store to be told that I now have to wait until after the rush and to call back later now. I was even told all that was available were vans when I was in the store so when I said that was fine I was told nevermind call back. Called back later and now nothing is available again despite being told this morning there was a van available!
Rented a compact car for 2 days but they didn't have any compact cars so I got a free upgrade to a full size car. I rented the car on Delaware and dropped it at Philadelphia airport. It was completely hassle free and not too pricy! Highly recommend using enterprise and will use them again of I need another car!
Renting car/SUV from here for several years now. Cars are clean and well maintained. Majority of times they have been prompt with the vehicle availability. Service has become more efficient with the new system. Staff has always been courteous.
I had an awful experience at this place. I had made a reservation many days in advance to go on a weeklong trip with my parents. The car enterprise had reserved for me was so disgusting. The seats were full of stains and cigarette burns. The low tire pressure light was on. The car also smelled so much like perfume that my mom couldn't stay into it. After a few minutes of driving, I decided to turn around, go back to enterprise and ask for a replacement. The person I talked to didn't apologize and seemed like he couldn't care less. He told me it was the only car he had available, and that he may be able to give me another one at the end of the day. When I asked him if he could guarantee I would get another car later, he didn't seem so sure and said to call him first. That's all he could do. At that point, I was ready to cancel everything and leave. Before doing that, I asked if he could call another location to see if they had a car I could rent. He said he could try the Newark branch nearby. Thankfully they had a car that I ended-up getting. I must say that I have rented cars at many enterprise locations in the past and was never treated so badly. All the places I have been before had cars in perfect condition. I strongly recommend avoiding that enterprise branch.
